Join our speaker from the Sedav Vaaki Museum (previously Pueblo Grande Museum) for a presentation, followed by an up-close look of artifacts. Learn about the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People, known to archaeologists as the Hohokam, who lived in Phoenix and the surrounding areas over a thousand years ago. Find out how they not only survived, but thrived in the desert by utilizing the landscape, building irrigation canals, and growing a variety of crops.

Presenter: Adriana Zavalza
